Ski Season Essential List

Winter’s nearing, the first decent snow packs will soon be on the mountains, and it’s time to prepare to hit the slopes. What to wear skiing is always a consideration: you need to stay warm and dry without restricting movement. With that in mind, we’ve created a list of ski essentials, including some of the best ski jacket brands available.

Best Ski Jacket Brands

Which are the best ski jacket brands? The answer depends on personal preferences and the weather conditions where you’re skiing, of course, but the following brands offer some of the most durable and versatile jackets for skiing and snowboarding:

  •  Carhartt
  • CROWN
  • Weatherproof
  • Berne Apparel

These brands are absolute ski essentials for all conditions, from the depths of winter snowboarding to warmer spring skiing. If you’re ordering jackets for a ski club, Triple Crown Products offers free logo embroidery with orders of twelve or more Carhartt jackets.

Best Ski Jacket: Men

The best ski jacket for men depends on the season. Generally, the jacket should be warm, wind and water resistant, and allow for layering clothing while still providing flexibility. Choose from the following:

  •  The Weatherproof 32 Packable Down Jacket is surprisingly lightweight for a down-filled jacket. Wind resistant and water repelling, this is an ideal jacket for skiing and snowboarding alike.

  •  The High Country Hooded Jacket by Berne Apparel is a must have for skiing in the peak of winter. The jacket’s 100 percent washed cotton duck and smooth nylon lining will keep you comfortable when the temperature drops.

  •  The Crowley Jacket from Carhartt offers ease of movement with wind and water resistance.

  •  CROWN’s Foreman Thermal Lined Jacket is great for layering before hitting the slopes. Its flexibility and lightweight thermal lining make this jacket one of our ski essentials.

Best Ski Jacket: Women

The best ski jacket for women should meet the same standards as its male counterpart: warmth, flexibility, and protection from the elements are essential. Possibilities include:

  •  CROWN’s Black Diamond Soft Shell Jacket keeps you comfy and cozy with its lightweight microfleece, breathable membrane, and water repellant shell. Fleece lined pockets offer extra warmth while you’re waiting for the ski lift.

  • The jacket is carefully designed for ease of movement.

Carhartt’s Full Swing Quick Duck Sherpa-Lined Jacket offers plenty of insulation despite its light weight. The jacket provides a full range of motion with added bend at the elbows—an important consideration for a skier.

  •  For spring skiing conditions, consider the Carhartt Women’s Kentwood Jacket, with its 100 percent textured fleece, anti-pill face, and a three-piece attached hood.

Layering options

What’s under your jacket is just as important to consider when skiing or snowboarding. A form-fitting thermal like Royal Apparel’s Unisex Long-Sleeved Thermal provides a good base for your wardrobe. For very cold days, the Carhartt Midweight Cotton Union should be part of your slope essentials.

Headgear and Gloves

Skiing without proper headgear and gloves quickly becomes uncomfortable. Keep your head warm with the Jetline Ski Beanie with ear flaps or Benchmark’s soft knit Balaclava.

Keep your fingers from getting frosty with a pair of Premium Suede Cold Weather Gloves from OccuNomix. Pockets on the palm and back of the hand offer room for heat packs.

What to wear skiing? Whatever keeps you dry, warm, and comfortable. Find the jacket that works best for you, layer up, and hit the slopes!

The Benefit of Embroidering Hats

The Benefit of Embroidering Hats

Early in the process of designing custom printed hats you’ll need to make an important choice: do you opt for embroidery or screen printing? While screen printing is a cheap and effective way to create printed t-shirts, embroidery is better suited for custom hat printing for a number of reasons.

Before we discuss the benefits of embroidery over screen printing, it’s important to explain the nature of the two processes. Screen printing applies inks directly to the surface of the hat. Each color is applied to the hat separately using mesh stencils. Depending on the number of inks requires, custom printed hats may need four or more screens to complete the process, and cost is dependent on the number of colors used.

Embroidering is a very different process. A digital embroidery design is stitched directly onto the hat using high precision machinery. Multiple thread colors may be stitched over a short period of time.

Benefits of Embroidery

Let’s assume a company wants to produce some custom printed trucker hats for employees and as gifts for customers. They have their choice of screen printing and embroidery. Why choose embroidery?

  •  Perceived Value: Embroidery isn’t much more expensive than screen printing, but the end product looks like it cost significantly more, increasing the perceived value of the hat and improving your company’s reputation for quality.

  •  Durability: Over time, the ink used to make screen printed hats fades. This isn’t a problem for one-time promotional items for special events, but if you’re custom printing hats for employee uniforms or as special gifts, embroidery is much longer-lasting.

  •  Appearance: Embroidery thread are slightly raised above the surface of the hat, giving the hat an attractive look. This generally looks more professional and attractive than screen printing.

  •  Cost: Embroidery costs are flat fees, while the cost of custom printing hats with screen printing varies depending on the number of mesh screens used.

While screen printing is better suited for lightweight shirts and workwear, the appearance and quality of embroidery make it the superior choice for custom printed hats. With embroidery, your promotional hats last longer, look better, and provide years of free advertising.

Essential Hunting Gear for the Fall/Winter Seasons

Enjoying the fall or winter hunting seasons doesn’t just rely on whether you come back with your quarry—you also need clothing that’s warm, weather resistant, and produces as little noise as possible. Camouflaged Carhartt jackets for men and women provide you with comfort and protection from the elements while hiding you from those ever-vigilant whitetail deer.

Camo Jackets for Men

Hunting is all about patience, which sometimes means you’re motionless in cover for extended periods of time. Wind, rain, and snow can make waiting unbearably uncomfortable unless you’re wearing a Carhartt camo jacket. Men have their choice of multiple Carhartt hunting clothes, but here are three of the best:

?      Stormy Woods camo jackets for men offer a breathable and water repellent Rain Defender® finish to keep you comfortable whether you’re tracking prey or lining up your shot.

?      The Men’s Camo Shoreline Jacket also provides the Rain Defender® water repellent finish combined with a Storm Defender™ waterproof breathable membrane.

?      One of the best Carhartt jackets for men who love the outdoors is the water repellent Buckfield Camo Jacket which comes in a Mossy Oak® camouflage pattern. Made from soft polyester, this Carhartt hunting jacket allows you to move freely with a minimum amount of clothing-related noise.

Carhartt Camo Jackets for Women

If you’re a woman who hunts, you’ll appreciate the quality of a Carhartt Camo jacket. Women find the following Carhartt hunting clothes to be exceptionally good choices:

?      The Camo Active Jacket provides plenty of warmth with a quilted flannel body lining, while the Realtree® camouflage pattern helps you blend into your surroundings.

?      Ideal for overcast and rainy fall days, the Shoreline Printed Jacket boasts a Storm Defender™ waterproof membrane and a detachable three-piece hood.

Carhartt Camo Insulated Bibs

Carhartt jackets for women and men may keep your arms and chest warm, but what about your legs? Carhartt hunting clothes include insulated camo bibs in addition to hunting jackets. Popular choices include:

?      Camo Shoreline Bib Overalls have a polyester mesh lining for quiet movement, combined with both Storm Defender™ and Rain Defender® technology to keep the elements at bay.

?      Quilted Lined Camo Bib Overalls shield you from detection with Realtree® camouflage. Made from durable cotton duck, these Carhartt camo bibs provide midweight polyester insulation to keep you comfortable and warm in winter weather.

Free Beanies and Logos!

Get a free beanie when you purchase a Carhartt hunting jacket. And if you’re a hunting organization looking to outfit your members, include your logo for free when you buy more than twelve jackets from our Carhartt collection.

Happy hunting!

How to Design Your Own Custom Hat

How to Design Your Own Custom Hat

Custom made hats make a powerful statement, especially when combined with a workplace uniform. Hats are the ultimate accessory—often acting as the focal point of an outfit. Before you order a set of custom logo hats for your organization, however, you need to know how to design a hat that displays your logo to best effect.

How to Design a Hat

First things first—custom hat design is very different from customizing a shirt or jacket. A hat offers a much smaller surface for your logo. Detailed logos that looked great on t-shirts may look overly busy, cramped, or indistinct on hats. This is most problematic with embroidered logos: the size of the embroidery threads limits how much detail you can include.

The solution, whenever possible, is to keep your custom hat design simple. Clear lines and a minimalist design work best with custom logo hats. A logo with crisp, clean lines and clearly defined colors is ideal—think of the Nike “swoosh” or the easily recognizable Coca-Cola logo.

Choosing a Hat Type

Not all hats have the same dimensions. Custom baseball hat design has more space for a logo than, say, a golf visor. Some hats have higher profiles than others, and can display larger logos, while 5-panel hats have low height and are therefore better suited for smaller logos. Using hat design templates can help you decide if a hat style matches your customization needs.

Positioning a Custom Hat Design

Hat design templates can also help you decide where to position your logo. Logos on the front of a hat should be centered. Positioning the logo to either side of the center gives the hat a lopsided look.

The sides of a hat are suitable for small logos, your company initials, or other small details.

Decoration options on Custom Made Hats

Embroidered hats and custom printed hats are the two most common types of customizations for headgear, but they’re far from the only ones available. Custom hat design includes such options as:

  • ?Flat Embroidery is directly embroidered onto the hat, and slightly raised above the hat surface.
  • ?3D Puff Embroidery is raised up to give the logo a distinct three-dimensional appearance. Like flat embroidery, the logo is directly embroidered onto the hat.
  • ?Emblem embroidery refers to an embroidered label stitched onto the hat, rather than embroidering the hat surface directly.
  • ?Woven labels are labels produced on a loom and then stitched onto the hat surface.
  • ?Sandwich Visor Text is used to repeat a company name, message, or very simple image along the border of a visor.
  • ?Sublimation Patches are printed photorealistic patches which are then stitched onto hats.
  • ?Leather Patches are rugged, durable patches with logos or text printed directly on them.
  • ?PVC Patches are made from flexible plastic secured to the hat with adhesives.
  • ?Printed / Taped Inside Seams add text to the inside seams of the hat.
  • ?Liquid Metal uses a liquified rubber to produce a three-dimensional metallic finish.
  • ?Reflective Patches are exactly what they sound like—a highly reflective patch that catches the light.

Preparing Your Logo

Once you have your logo finalized, you’ll have to send it to the company providing the custom-made hats. For embroidered logos, an in-house digitizer ensures the logo translates well from your artwork to the finished embroidery. A “sewout” of the logo will be created for your approval. Once you give the company the go-ahead, production can begin. At Triple Crown Products this means an experienced embroidery team completes each hat according to our strict quality standards. Or if you are using a custom program like MAX or MV3, you will start by receiving a sample hat or image of your hat as a pre-production sample.

Customize with Triple Crown Products

At Triple Crown Products, we offer a variety of options to help you customize a hat to meet your exact specifications. Whether you’re looking for a minimal effort customization or a completely original hat design, we’ve got you covered.

Option 1: In-stock Headwear Program

For a quick, clean customization, our in-stock headwear program gives you the ability to select specific hats from our inventory and add your personal touch. Logo customization is more restricted with this program, allowing only for changes to the front or side of the hat.

Option 2: Completely Custom Headwear Program

If you want completely customized headwear, this is the option for you. With this program, you are able to select some of our most popular brands including MAX, CROWN, and MV3. You’re in control when it comes to the look and feel of the hat. From profile to colors and logo design and placement, your imagination is the limit when it comes to creating your completely custom headwear. Check out this video to get a full grasp of all of the customization options available.

Custom hat design is an involved process, and one we like to make as pain-free for our clients as possible. If you’re considering a run of custom printed hats but are unsure where to begin, our interactive hat quiz can help you choose the hat program that best aligns with your logo, your budget, and your needs.

Making Your Trade Show Booth the Go-To Stop

Making Your Trade Show Booth the Go-To Stop

Inventive, eye-catching trade show booth designs draw in the crowds you need to make attending a show worthwhile. Custom trade show exhibits require a financial outlay, but they offer a healthy return on investment. The right display generates sales leads while helping you network, make contacts, and form business partnerships.

Of course, your display is competing with every other vendor at the show. You must stand out from the crowd to be noticed. Combining a careful eye for booth display with the best trade show giveaway gives your booth an edge over the competition. Here’s a few strategies you can employ at your next trade show.

Create Custom Trade Show Exhibits

Displays for tradeshows must make a positive first impression within seconds, or attendees will gravitate to rival displays. An effective display works with your brand image to catch the eye, utilizing clearly located products, demonstrations, and a dedicated area to highlight trade show giveaways like t-shirts, hats, and USB drives.

Keep your audience’s needs in mind when considering trade show booth designs. Attendees should be able to quickly locate the products or services they’re interested in exploring. Outfitting your salespeople and booth attendants in promotional workwear makes them highly visible to anyone seeking more information about your product.

The Best Trade Show Giveaways

Displays for tradeshows should be well-stocked with intriguing promotional items and giveaways. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box when considering tradeshow giveaways—an unusual promotional item can make a lasting impression.

Ten of the Best Trade Show Giveaways:

  1. Promotional pens may be a ubiquitous giveaway, but their practical nature makes them a valued trade show gift. Go the extra mile for higher-quality pens to give you an edge over the competition.
  2. Water Bottles are a popular trade show gift. Add a water cooler to your booth so attendees can top up their free water bottles and you’ll attract thirsty attendees to your displays.
  3. Coffee Mugs are another giveaway that’ll draw people to your booth, especially if you happen to have free coffee on hand to fill said mugs.
  4. USB Drives can serve a dual purpose as tradeshow giveaways. They’re useful, sure, but they can also help deliver your message. Install PowerPoint presentations and white papers on USB drives in advance, so attendees can easily access information on your product or service after the show ends.
  5. Stress Toys like the Brain Stress Reliever are fun little gifts that stand out from the usual pen and pencil offerings.
  6. Tote Bags can be used to package your other tradeshow giveaways. Tote bags have the advantage of being put to use almost immediately. Attendees will need a bag to carry all their trade show loot, so why not give them a tote bag that spreads awareness of your booth throughout the show floor?
  7. Plush animals are whimsical tradeshow giveaways. A Fuzzy Friends Bear is likely to wind up in attendees’ offices, or given as a gift to their own children. Either way, they’ll see your logo regularly.
  8. Magnets are some of the best trade show giveaways. They’re small, easy to pack into traveling bags, and equally useful at home or work. 12-month calendar magnets, in particular, are popular giveaways.
  9. Tools like the Everything Tool Keychain are practical little gifts likely to see lots of use while improving brand awareness.
  10. Beanies offer an alternative to T-shirts and hats. Small enough to be easily transported, a fleece beanie will quickly be used during fall and winter trade shows.

Give attendees reason to display your promotional gifts by asking them to sign up for a contest. Make the prize something really attractive, like a Carhartt jacket, travel bag, or beverage gift set.

Add Engagement to Your Trade Show Booth Designs

Tradeshow attendees tend to congregate where they see crowds and line-ups, as any booth attracting crowds probably has something worth seeing. Make your booth as appealing as possible by adding interactive elements. Videos, touch screens, hands-on demonstrations, and virtual reality are sure to catch people’s attention. A coffee machine or charging station for smart devices can also draw in large crowds.

Quick Tips for a Successful Trade Show

  • Market yourself before the show—send free invitations to established clients.
  • Set up a mailing list at your booth to compile visitor information.
  • Train your sales people ahead of the tradeshow and have them work the floor in promotional clothing, attracting attention back to the booth.
  • Network more than you sell. Trade shows are about building prospective leads more than closing deals.
  • Prepare in advance. Creating custom trade show exhibits takes time.
  • Reach out to prospective leads / business contacts the day after the show. Sooner is better than later.

How to Stay Warm at a Football Game: A Survival Guide for Parents

How to Stay Warm at a Football Game: A Survival Guide for Parents

As the parent of a football player, you know that sitting in the stands cheering your kid on can quickly turn into a chilly situation during the fall and winter seasons. Knowing how to stay warm at a football game allows you to enjoy the action without having to worry about getting hypothermia.

Dress in Layers

Dressing in layers helps you adapt quickly to changing temperatures by removing or adding layers as needed. Start with a heavyweight T-shirt followed by a flannel shirt (available in men’s or women’s styles). Finish off with a weatherproof down jacket. If it’s really cold, or if you just want to show some team spirit, pull an oversized team jersey over everything else.

Six Cozy Fall and Winter Jackets

Not sure what type of jacket will help you stay warm at a football game? Here are six fall and winter jackets to shield you from the weather as you enjoy the game:

Want to outfit a team’s worth of parents with jackets? Triple Crown Products offers free embroidered logos with every order of twelve or more Carhartt Jackets.

Keep Your Hands and Head Warm

Back when you first learned how to stay warm outside, you were probably told we lose eighty percent of our body heat through our head. The real amount is closer to ten percent, but that doesn’t mean headgear won’t help you stay warm (and possibly even ward off frostbite). A fleece beanie will shield your ears from the wind. (Right now, receive a free beanie with select jacket purchases from Triple Crown Products). If the temperature really plummets, a face mask provides more protection from winter’s cold bite. Don’t forget your gloves and scarf!

Choose Flannel-lined jeans

Jackets are all fine and well for your upper body, but how will your legs stay warm at a football game? We recommend these flannel-lined pants for men and flannel-lined jeans for women. If that’s not enough to keep your lower extremities warm, consider a pair of thermal underwear bottoms. Wrapping a warm blanket around your legs also helps keep the cold at bay.

If your feet aren’t warm, it’s almost impossible to stay comfortable at a football game. Consider doubling up on socks and choosing a pair of cozy boots.

Staying Warm with Stadium chairs

Anyone who knows how to stay warm outside knows wet clothing chills you quickly. Stadium seating may be wet or simply too cold to sit on comfortably, so pack your own stadium seat, preferably emblazoned with your team’s name.

Warm up Your Insides

No matter how cold it gets in the stands, a thermos of hot chocolate or soup helps you feel warm and cozy. The Cinna steel flask and cup set provides all you need for a warm mug of your favorite hot drink as you cheer the kids on to victory.

6 Ways to Use T-Shirts to Promote your Small Business

When it comes to enhancing brand recognition, promotional products make a big impact. As one of the most cost-effective branded products, promotional t-shirts offer a bang for a company's investment dollar! Here are some of the best ways to make them work for your business:

1) Social media giveaways

This is a great way to promote engagement, while enhancing your social media marketing campaign. Host a t shirt giveaway on multiple channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Ask people to comment, like and share your message for an opportunity to win your custom logo T-shirt.

2) Survey incentives

Modern customers aren't very enthusiastic about filling out online surveys. Sweeten the deal by offering a company t-shirt with a cool or quirky saying. You can give one away to every person who completes a survey, or you could offer a drawing for survey participants with a classy customized polo shirt as the prize.

3) Bonus gifts

Include a branded t-shirt or polo shirt with high-end products. People love freebies, and they may be more likely to buy an item if you sweeten the deal.

4) Hold a drawing

Having trouble collecting addresses for your email marketing campaign? Inspire better engagement by holding a drawing. As an eligibility requirement, ask potential customers to submit their names and email addresses. This can lead to better long-term engagement that could result in more profitable leads.

5) Visit trade shows

Trade shows provide multiple ways for you to leverage promotional tees. First, unless the event has a strict dress code policy, make sure you and your staff wears your branded t-shirts. Second, consider giving away promotional tees by themselves or as part of a gift bag. Be sure to include your website address on the t-shirts, especially if your business transacts via a web platform.

6) Sponsor an event

When they sponsor events, companies often receive positive press about their philanthropic efforts. These gatherings also provide a great opportunity to hand out promotional tees to participants and guests. Whether it's a 5K run, a little league baseball tournament or a local charity event, these gatherings are great for engaging with potential customers and the community at large.

Things to Consider

While branded t-shirts offer proven promotional appeal, not all providers offer the same level of quality. To pique consumer interest, it's a good idea to develop unique, eye-catching tees that don't look too generic. With innovative printing capabilities, Triple Crown is ideally equipped to help you create custom t-shirts for every angle or occasion. Enhanced by photo-quality, end-to-end graphics, your tees are guaranteed to inspire interest, whatever the setting.

Agricultural Industry Promo Gift Ideas

Whether you need to connect with suppliers, producers, farmers markets, coops, grocers or individual customers, branded agri products can really make an impression. Here are some agricultural industry promotional gift ideas to help you cultivate goodwill and plant a seed in the minds of your target audience.

Canvas totes: These promo gifts are a great way to engage customers as farmers markets. Capable of holding plenty of weighty produce, they also offer expansive space for you to showcase your logo. Since they tend to be reused, quality promotional totes also help keep your brand front of mind, which helps to drive repeat business weeks and months down the line.

Garden tool packs: Loaded with essential gardening tools, this easy-handling tote offers relevant appeal to agri-minded audiences. It's also a great way to leverage the booming gardening hobby-trend. What's more, since it offers lasting, real-world value, this promo gift is sure to provide a high ROI for your promotional dollar.

Work gloves: If your company's promotional campaign centers on agricultural producers, branded work gloves can really hit the mark. Available in rugged pigskin leather, flexible synthetics and everything in between, these handy agri products offer functional, real-world value to clients, whether they are working in the fields, servicing tractors or trying to stay warm in the early morning hours.

Sport jugs: Agricultural producers work long hours under the hot sun. In turn, most require large quantities of water, tea or sports drinks. Insulated sports jugs help keep beverages cool all day long, even when temperatures soar above 100 degrees. When they are branded with your unique logo, they can also build positive sentiment for your company, while keeping you relevant in the minds of your clients.

Cutting boards: Cutting boards and produce go hand in hand. When customized with your logo, these kitchen essentials are a great way to engage individual consumers or key decision-makers that work for suppliers, coops or grocers.

Beverages and edibles: If you're looking for a way to engage broad agricultural audiences, there's no better option than promotional drinks and edibles. After all, while people tend to have different needs and interests depending on their demographics, everyone appreciates the allure of free food and beverages.

Things to Consider

When choosing the right promotional gift for the agricultural industry, it's important to know your market. Before selecting an item, you should first ask yourself who exactly you are targeting. Your first instinct might be to answer, anyone and everyone. Unfortunately, this sort of oversimplification can lead to waste if you choose a product that doesn't effectively engage your target audience.

Take the time to get a better understanding of your audience’s individual demographics and characteristics. Are they young millennials who are focused on organics and renewables? Are they middle-aged or retired consumers with their own sets of priorities? The more you know about your customers, the easier it is to tailor your marketing message by selecting agricultural-themed products that are relevant to their lives.

5 Great New Employee Welcome Gift Ideas

When they first join a company, new employees can have trouble keeping their heads above water. They don't yet know their coworkers and are unfamiliar with the company culture. They also face anxieties related to learning new responsibilities and proving their worth. If you'd like to create a more seamless onboarding process for your workers, learn how new employee welcome gifts can help.

Rolling Out the Red Carpet

Sociological, psychological and economic research has shown that employee morale directly influences a company’s bottom line. In fact, businesses enjoy much higher productivity when their workers are happier and more engaged.

This type of research is fueling a trend of welcoming new staffers with employee gifts. Among the most popular choices include:

1) Desktop items: Pens, pencils, highlighters and notebooks

2) Tech items: USB drives, chargers, mouse pads and styluses

3) Office supplies: Calendars, folders, memo pads and stress toys

4) Drinkware: Mugs, glasses, coffee cups, insulators and bottles

5) Bags: Briefcases, tote bags, backpacks and wallets

In addition to optimizing the onboarding experience, these items can also provide a promotional boost for a business, when they are branded with its unique logo. This is especially true if businesses gift their employees with promotional items that will be used outside the workplace.

Making a Wise Investment

The average business spends over $1,800 to hire someone new and up to four months searching for the right candidate. With this type of investment, it makes sense for employers to express their appreciation for new workers to make them feel like a valued part of the team.

By boosting morale right out of the gate, new employee welcome gifts have the potential to reduce costs and headaches related to employee turnover. They are also valuable tools for integrating new staffers to create a smoother-running operational structure fueled by happy employees.

5 Ways Promo Products Can Boost Your Marketing Campaign

An effective promotional marketing strategy should incorporate a variety of tactics and channels. When it comes to generating optimal ROI, however, few marketing methods compare to branded promo items. If you're looking for a way to boost brand awareness and cultivate client goodwill, consider these five key benefits of promotional products.

1) They generate lasting awareness. According to a study by the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), 62 percent of consumers say they remember the name and services of at least one company that gave them a promotional product. What's more, other research indicates that promo products forge positive relationships with customers by cultivating goodwill.

2) They pack enduring promotional power. Because they offer tangible, real-world value, the right promo products tend to get used again and again. According to research, in fact, the average person keeps a promotional product for as long as one year to more than four years. This extended lifespan creates a better return on investment, while also increasing the chances that your brand will get exposed to more and more consumers.

3) They optimize engagement. By tailoring their promotional products to their audiences, businesses are able to connect in powerful ways. Whether it's corporate, education, medical, travel, pharmaceutical, technology or some other industry, it's easy to target key market segments by tapping today's diverse array of promo products.

4) They turn clients into ambassadors. In addition to generating client goodwill, promotional products also turn customers into proverbial walking billboards. Whether they're on the golf course, in the office or shopping at the mall, your clients can become influential ambassadors for your logo when they use or wear one of your branded promo items.

5) They are affordable. Cost management is a key part of any effective marketing campaign. With today's branded products, companies are able to select from a broad diversity of options, priced to fit even the tightest budgets. Whether you need inexpensive trade show items in bulk or high-end corporate gifts, it's never been easier - or more affordable - to leverage promotional products.

With a free shopping option and price matching guarantee, Triple Crown is your source for cost-effective promotional products. Explore our wide array of branded items and discover first-rate marketing solutions for your unique business needs. Shop today!

Technology Industry: Promotional Gifts

To connect with today's customers, business owners need functional branded products that are relevant to modern life. In turn, more and more companies from all industries are investing in technology-related promotional items, which offer long-term promotional power because of their practicality.

Benefits of Investing in Technology-Related Promotional Products

Promotional products are the most effective advertising medium next to the Internet. Despite their high returns, not all promotional items offer the same return on investment. In addition to increasing brand awareness, the highest-performing products also promote:

  • Higher recall
  • Customer goodwill
  • Engagement
  • Longevity

To achieve these key goals, a product must provide real-world functionality, along with good versatility that makes it useful in the office, at home and anywhere else a customer takes them. By providing all these benefits, branded tech products yield a better return on investment, especially for businesses engaging in B2B marketing or catering to tech-savvy professionals and industry decision-makers.

The Triple Crown Advantage

How Corporate Gifts Help Boost Employee Morale

How Corporate Gifts Help Boost Employee Morale

To run an effective company, business owners need all hands on deck. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to keep everyone happy all of the time. When job satisfaction suffers, companies experience higher turnover rates, reduced productivity and lower profits. To combat this, a growing number of businesses are using corporate gifts to improve employee morale.

What Exactly Is Employee Morale?

In essence, staff morale is the collection of feelings and attitudes employees have for their workplace. Whether positive or negative, worker morale can influence a number of critical areas, including:

  • Productivity
  • Employee attitudes
  • Workplace safety
  • Daily decisions
  • Attendance and punctuality
  • Relationships with management and co-workers

With this in mind, it's obvious that good employee morale can drive a business forward, while low morale can hold it back. But how can budget-conscious companies make their workers happier without going over-budget?

Providing Incentives

According to a study by the International Society for Performance Improvement, incentive programs can boost employee satisfaction and performance by as much as 44 percent. For Fortune 500 companies, these incentives might include bonuses, vacations and profit-sharing plans. Unfortunately, for many businesses, these strategies aren't cost-effective.

As they strive to balance employee satisfaction with razor-thin budgets, more and more companies are utilizing corporate gifts to inspire productivity and promote goodwill. Sometimes, these gifts are given regularly to all company personnel. Other times, they are given as part of the onboarding process or as prizes for a job well done.

Whatever the case, there are a number of corporate gifts business owners can use to inspire their staff. This includes small everyday office items, such as pens, pencils, highlighters, notebooks, calendars, folders and memo pads. It can also include tech toys, such as USB drives, chargers, mouse pads and styluses. In many cases, business owners also choose to reward outstanding performance by offering higher-end branded products, such as briefcases, luggage, tools and golfing accessories.

However they choose to leverage them, corporate gifts provide effective, low-cost incentives that help business owners reduce turnover, enhance productivity and improve the way their team feels about the organization as a whole.

How to Organize a 5k Race

How to Organize a 5k Race

Running a 5K race can be an enjoyable experience for all involved, but make no mistake—it takes plenty of work to put together a successful race. From choosing a location to picking promotional items, this list explains how to organize a 5K race.

1. Choosing a Location

Before you decide on anything else, you need to know where your race will be held. Can participants, volunteers, and your audience reach the venue easily? Is the location one people enjoy going to on other occasions?

2. Choose a Date

The date you choose is as important as the race location. While you cannot control the weather, your choice of date can reduce the risk of wind and rain. You’ll also need to consider holidays, participant schedules, and other events that could compete for people’s attention. Most races take a year to plan, so choose a date that gives you plenty of time to prepare.

3. Set Race Goals

How many racers do you want to participate? Larger races require more effort, time, and money to organize. Are you running the race for publicity or for charitable purposes? The answers to these questions influence how to organize a 5K race.

4. Get Permits

This is the single most important step in the early stages of organizing a race. If you don’t have a permit from the proper authorities, your race simply won’t run.

5. Consider Logistics

Once you have permission to run the race, you’re going to have to consider a wide range of factors. Race software can help you organize many aspects of the race, including online registration, selling merchandise, and reporting race results.

6. Budgets, Sponsors, and Donations

Draw up a budget for the race, accounting for such costs as:

  • Water for participants,
  • T-shirts and other merchandise,
  • Post-race entertainment and food,
  • Police and medical presence,
  • Porta Potties,
  • Race software
  • Reflective gear for volunteers,
  • Advertising,
  • Tents, cones, and other materials,
  • Labor

Donations and sponsors can help cover the costs of your race. Local businesses and sports facilities may be willing to sponsor the race in return for merchandising opportunities. Even if sponsors aren’t willing to put up money, they may be eager to donate items for participant goodie bags.

7. Promotion

Promotion is an important factor when considering how to organize a 5K race. No matter how many participants you have, a race isn’t a success without a crowd. Promote your event through social media, a website, emails, and local television and radio.

8. The Big Day

Be prepared for anything on the day of the race. Get to the race site early to deal with last-minute issues and have backup plans in place should volunteers not show up. And breathe—there’s no need to panic!

9. After the Race

In the aftermath of the event, be sure to thank participants, sponsors, police, volunteers, and local authorities. A branded gift such as a race water bottle makes a suitable thank-you gift. Post the race results online and respond to feedback from participants—their thoughts can help you choose how to organize a 5K race next year!

Importance of a Great Logo

Importance of a Great Logo

These days, companies must struggle against shortened attention spans. In turn, they are investing more time and money into developing memorable logos. The beginning of an organization's branding, a logo should convey a company's vision, while projecting a distinctive, professional image. Here are some of the basics of business logo design to help you create a more impactful symbol for your brand.

Why it Matters

The basis of all promotional efforts, a company's logo is its most powerful marketing tool. An effective logo creates a company's image, while also acting as its very first introduction to consumers. A good logo invites consumers to learn more about a service or company, while instilling key principles about the brand. For instance, while a marketing company may want a logo with a dynamic or aggressive design, an insurance company is more likely to want a logo that projects security and prestige. Whatever the case, a logo will always be the chief visual component of a business's brand identity.

Logos also help solidify consumer loyalty, thanks in part to repetition. If a company is able to meet certain standards time and time again, people will begin to associate its logo with these standards. Over time, this can make a logo recognizable or even iconic, as with Nike's swoosh or Apple's fruit. To accomplish this, however, a business must be consistent in the way it utilizes its logo. Whether it's a website, marketing materials, annual reports, invoices, corporate apparel or promotional products, the logo should always be present and always look the same.

Making a Good Logo

There are all sorts of different ways to make an effective logo. At the same time, there are countless ways to make a forgettable logo that doesn't connect with consumers.

One key component of an impactful logo centers on originality. Obviously, your logo can't make a unique impact if it reminds people of something else. It's important to do plenty of research to make sure you don't inadvertently design a logo that resembles that of another brand.

At the same time, even a unique, attractive logo can fail if it doesn't project the right image. It's not enough to have a unique logo that looks sharp. You also need to make sure that the logo says what you want it to say. This means defining your company's core values, along with its personality. You will also need to determine exactly what makes your company different from the competition.

Getting Help

There are a lot of things to consider when designing a logo. For instance, did you know that specific colors tend to evoke certain emotions in people, or that certain shapes are more pleasing to the eye as opposed to others, which evoke negative feelings?

If you aren't a graphic designer, you may have trouble coming up with an effective logo without some help from a professional. Since your logo is such an important part of your company, it's a good idea to get some outside expertise to help you create and settle on an effective design. Once you decide on a logo, you will need to stick with it for consistency's sake. With this in mind, it's important to get things right the very first time.

Agricultural Industry Promos

Agricultural Industry Promos
